Arlington Court is a Regency house set in a large family estate, with a stable block holding a big collection of historic horse-drawn carriages that children can see up close. Inside the house there are shells, model ships and tapestries collected by the Chichester family to explore. Outside there is a formal Victorian garden with a fountain and a walled kitchen garden, and a play area with sit-on diggers, balance beams, a mud kitchen and a log climber for older children. Families can also walk on the wider estate, which has many miles of paths and a bat cam, and there is a tea-room and second-hand bookshop by the visitor reception. Dogs are welcome on the estate, though not inside the house or tea-room.

Opening pattern changes through the year; check the National Trust page before visiting.
