About Mini Days Out

Mini Days Out is a family-run guide to days out with kids across the UK, born in Wiltshire and now covering every region from Cornwall to the Highlands.

We started it for a simple reason: finding somewhere to take the kids on a wet Saturday shouldn’t take forty browser tabs. Every place here is organised by age, price and weather, so you can go from “bored kids” to “coats on” in about two minutes.

Reviews come from real parents. We don’t accept payment for reviews, and sponsored placements are always labelled.

Where the data comes from

Listings are researched and verified against each venue’s own website. Some venue records were first found through open data: maps and some place data are © OpenStreetMap contributors (Open Database Licence), with further detail from Wikidata.

How we earn
