Days out by age — questions

What are good days out for toddlers?

Soft play, play cafés, farm parks and sensory sessions tend to work best for under-fives — short, hands-on, and easy to leave when nap time calls. Pick the baby or toddler age group to see places suited to them.

Where can I take a baby?

Plenty of places welcome the very youngest, from sensory rooms to buggy-friendly walks and cafés with baby-change facilities. The baby age group gathers the ones parents rate for a first day out.

What is there to do with older kids and teenagers?

Escape rooms, climbing, go-karting, trampoline parks and bigger attractions hold the attention of older children and teens. Choose the older age groups to skip the toddler-focused places.

How do I find activities for my child's age?

Pick your child's age group above. The six groups don't overlap, so you only see days out that genuinely suit the stage they're at.
