We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.
Holsworthy Museum occupies part of a 17th-century manor house that was once a parsonage, and its five small rooms cover the town's history. Displays include railway and viaduct photographs, a kitchen with period items, local trades tools for the blacksmith, thatcher and wheelwright, apothecary and medical objects, a wartime room, and the town's manorial weights and measures. Families with younger children tend to enjoy the wartime ration mock-up and the quizzes the museum provides to keep children occupied. The rooms are compact, so a visit suits an easy hour rather than a full day. Entry is free and the museum is run entirely by volunteers, who ask visitors for donations. It is a quiet, rural-town option for a rainy afternoon or a stop while exploring North Devon.
