Two museums share one historic building in Andover. Andover Museum traces the story of the town from the Neolithic era to the present day, with displays on the 1846 workhouse scandal, the old Weyhill Fair and the Taskers engineering firm. The Museum of the Iron Age sits in a brick Victorian extension and uses real artefacts and reconstructions to explore life at the nearby Danebury hillfort. Children can walk into a replica roundhouse, try the dressing-up corner and spot objects around the galleries using activity sheets. The museum runs family-friendly craft days with drop-in make-and-take activities and bookable workshops, and there is a café and a museum shop on site. Temporary exhibitions change through the year.
