South Devon Chilli Farm sits in rural countryside near Loddiswell and grows more than a hundred chilli varieties on site. Visitors can wander the farm for free, browse the farm shop and sample sauces, jams and chocolates before buying. Families tend to enjoy the children's play area, which has a playful chilli village to run around and play shop in, plus a colouring and quiz trail. Seasonal options include a show tunnel packed with chilli plants and short mini farm tours when they run. Dogs on leads are welcome around the outdoor areas, though not inside the shop. The site suits a relaxed visit of an hour or two, with space for a picnic and valley views. Opening days change through the year, so check before travelling.
