Henry Street car park (WA13 0LS) is next to the centre, approached via Bridgewater Street; the venue does not state charges.
Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.
A small local museum on Legh Street in the heart of Lymm village, Cheshire, where the displays trace the village's trades, transport and traditions. It is run entirely by volunteers, and the venue says it is all on one level with a ramped entrance, so families with pushchairs can move around without stairs. The centre is aimed at curious visitors of all ages, and it puts real effort into children's interest: there is a dinosaur to have a photo with, real fossils to hunt for, a LEGO build, a floor jigsaw timeline and a model of the Manchester Ship Canal with a locomotive to drive. A free kids' activity book with quizzes and puzzles takes children round the centre and out into the village. It pairs well with a walk along the canal towpath, the Lymm Dam circuit and the village's cafes and pubs. Groups can arrange talks.
