Snowshill Manor and Garden is a National Trust property in the Cotswolds, the former home of collector Charles Wade. The manor is packed with curiosities gathered over decades, from model boats and samurai armour to bicycles and toys, which gives younger visitors plenty to spot and ask about. The garden is laid out as a series of outdoor rooms with orchards, a wildflower meadow and a dovecote, and it holds the Wolf's Cove model village, a miniature Cornish fishing harbour that Wade began building in the early twentieth century and that the Trust has been reconstructing. The Trust runs seasonal trails and garden explorer notebooks for children. Families should expect a walk of some distance from the car park to the house, and the manor is entered on timed or limited tickets at busy times.
