Nearest car parks are pay-by-app (RingGo) and charged at all times. Two smaller free Woodland Trust car parks are further into the forest; blue badge holders park free in the pay car parks.

Foxburrows Farm is a small animal farm tucked into the edge of Hainault Forest Country Park, close to the Woodland Trust Visitor Centre and a newer outdoor adventure play area. Children can wander the paths and meet a mix of animals, from shetland ponies, donkeys and alpacas to sheep, goats, pigs, geese, ducks, rabbits and peafowl. A guinea pig village is one of the smaller attractions for little visitors to find. The farm was refurbished with a new display barn, animal shelters and accessible paths, and the collection is expected to grow. It suits toddlers and young children on a relaxed visit, and it pairs well with a walk through the forest, the lake and a stop at the park's cafe. Sturdy footwear is sensible, as ground can be muddy after rain.
