Facilities
We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.
The Jack the Ripper Museum occupies a historic Victorian house in Whitechapel and is spread over several floors. Visitors move through recreated scenes connected to the 1888 murders, including a police station display, a Victorian sitting room and a bedroom, alongside newspaper reports and collected memorabilia. The visit is self-guided, and an audio guide is offered at the entrance. The subject matter is dark, so it suits older children and teenagers who are curious about history, true crime and the East End rather than very young children. Child tickets are offered for ages 8 to 16. A lift serves every floor. The museum also runs a walking tour of the surrounding streets each afternoon and evening, and a shop sells books and souvenirs.
