Facilities

We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.

The Guards Museum tells the story of the five regiments of the King's Household Division — Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards — through uniforms, medals, weapons, diaries and personal items spanning nearly 400 years. Just moments from Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guard route, it's a small, welcoming museum where kids can try on a genuine Guards uniform, follow children's trails, use the colouring-in station and dress-up locker, and explore the children's area.

Free audio guides are included and family activities run during school holidays. Allow 30–60 minutes for your visit. Tickets can be booked online or on arrival (adults £11, concessions from £5, children 6–15 £3, under 5s free). Note: there is currently no step-free access (building works) and the museum has no toilet facilities.
