Young V&A is a museum where children and young people can imagine, play and design, inspired by spaces and objects from the V&A Collections. The current exhibition is Inside Aardman: Wallace & Gromit and Friends, which goes behind the scenes of stop-motion animation to show how the studio's characters and worlds are created. The museum runs regular drop-in events including Summer Story Saturdays, Summer Family Fridays and Design Club sessions for ages 11–14, plus open studio sessions with designers.
Closed 24 – 26 December. Early closing on Wed 29 July 2026: open 10.00-14.00 due to extreme weather.
