Facilities

The Henry Moore Institute sits on The Headrow in Leeds city centre and is the Henry Moore Foundation's gallery for sculpture from around the world. Its galleries host a changing programme of exhibitions, and admission is free all year. Indoors, the building is a good option on a wet day, with a sculpture research library and archive that visitors of any age can browse. Families can borrow an Explorer Basket of objects and activities to take round the exhibitions, and drop-in events and artist-led workshops are run for younger visitors. Because it sits next to Leeds Art Gallery and Leeds City Museum, it works well as one stop in a longer city-centre visit.
