Felixstowe Ferry Beach is a quiet, mainly shingle beach at Felixstowe Ferry, a small fishing hamlet about two miles north-east of Felixstowe where the River Deben meets the North Sea. Unlike the busier main Felixstowe seafront, this is a peaceful, family-friendly spot with colourful beach huts along the sea wall, two Martello towers, a sailing club, and a historic pub by the ferry landing. A seasonal foot and bicycle ferry crosses the Deben to Bawdsey, and the Suffolk Coast Path passes through. Families can enjoy rock pooling, beach games, watching boats on the estuary, and coastal walks towards King's Fleet waterway, with cafés and kiosks nearby. There are several car parks with accessible parking and toilets. Open access all year round - a free day out by the sea.
