A 405-hectare nature reserve in the Broads National Park where 28 species of dragonfly have been spotted and wading birds thrive in vast numbers. The grazing marshes, fens and peat pools are home to water voles, fen raft spiders, southern marsh orchids in early summer, reed warblers, marsh harriers and hobby birds. Bird hides dot the reserve for birdwatching. Two wheelchair-friendly trails (Sprat's Water and Share Marsh) lead through the landscape; mobility scooter hire is available. The visitor centre has a café serving hot food and lunches, a shop stocking wildlife gifts and Viking binoculars, and a Discovery Room available for hire. There is an outdoor play area, picnic spots and a 5k running route.
