Bodiam Castle is a fairytale 14th-century moated castle in the Rother Valley near Robertsbridge, East Sussex, cared for by the National Trust. Families can explore the towers and battlements, follow family-friendly trails around the grounds and across the moat, spot wildlife, and enjoy the tea-room. Seasonal children's activities run during school holidays.

Castle View Cafe opens seasonally. Summer of Play runs from 18 July to 2 September. 'How to be a Pirate' trail runs from 23 May to 5 September. BSL interpreted graffiti tours on 15 May and 9 September. Demonstrations by Call to Arms on 12 September and 10 October.
