Car park open 9am-5pm. Parking costs GBP 1.50 for one hour, GBP 3 for four hours, GBP 6 all day; free for National Trust members and blue badge holders. Overnight parking not permitted. One electric car charging point.

Tredegar House is a 17th-century National Trust mansion in Newport with grand rooms, formal gardens and 90 acres of parkland. Families can enjoy the gardens, walks, cafe and gift shop, plus seasonal events through the school holidays.
House and gardens open seasonally; Summer of Play Beach and Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution Trail are seasonal events running 5 Aug to 2 Sep 2026.
