Gower Heritage Centre

Gower Heritage Centre is a family attraction on the Gower Peninsula built around a fully operational 12th-century water-powered flour mill. Explore the historic mill on a free daily guided tour (no booking needed), watch the water wheel in action and see rural history displays about agricultural Gower. Younger visitors will love the poultry park farm animals, the undercover soft play with mini tractors and diggers, and the outdoor play area with its sand pit, swings, slides and play castle. Craft workshops based at the Centre offer blacksmithing, woodworking and milling demonstrations, with hands-on pre-booked experiences including flour-milling, bread-making and blacksmithing sessions. The Gower Gourmet Kitchen serves fresh homemade food using Gower and Welsh produce, and there are shops selling mill-ground flour, local produce, bread, cider, crafts and jewellery. Dogs are welcome on a lead (except in the poultry park), and around 95% of the Centre is wheelchair accessible. Open every day 10am-5pm, with free parking included in admission.
