Amberley Museum is an open-air industrial heritage museum set in a former chalk quarry in the South Downs near Arundel, West Sussex. Open Wednesday to Sunday (plus Bank Holidays), 10am to 4.30pm during the main season from mid-February to early November. Families can ride the narrow-gauge railway and vintage buses, explore the heritage railway displays, and watch working craft workshops and demonstrations of Sussex industry past and present. There is lots to explore both indoors and outdoors, plus a cafe and gift shop. Dogs are welcome, and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Main season 2026: 14th February 2026 - 1st November 2026.
