The Dorset Teddy Bear Museum displays over 100 years of teddy bears, from early antique bears to modern TV favourites. The centrepiece is Teddy Bear House, where life-sized bears including Edward Bear and his family greet visitors. The museum's collection ranges across bears from all parts of the teddy bear world, including Steiff, Merrythought, Dean's and Gund. There's a charming period shop stocking new and vintage bears for collectors. Children can compare lives and homes from Edwardian times to the present day.
