Swimming and water parks in Ipswich

Questions parents ask

Is there a café, or should we bring food and drink?

There's an onsite café, and there's also a pool bar and terrace available in spring and summer. You can eat without leaving the club.

Can I manage with a buggy, and will older and younger children both be entertained?

We haven't confirmed buggy-friendly access, so contact the club directly. Both ages will find activities: there are kids' splash pools, a crèche for the youngest, and programs from Cinema Club and Scooter Squad to tennis and swimming coaching for older children.

Do we need to book in advance, or can we just turn up?

The page does not state whether advance booking is needed for day visits. Contact the club to confirm whether you can visit without booking or if membership is required.

What should we bring that people often forget?

We haven't confirmed a picnic area, so you may not need to bring food. Bring towels and sun cream in summer, as there's a pool bar terrace that's popular in spring and summer months.

Does it work in bad weather, or is a wet forecast the end of the plan?

It's entirely indoor, so rain won't affect your visit. The centre has a swimming pool and soft play, making it ideal for when the weather is poor.

Is there parking, and is it a walk from the car?

Parking is confirmed at the centre. Accessible parking is also available, including blue-badge spaces.

Do we need to book, or can we turn up?

Booking is required for activities at this centre. You can make and manage bookings through the Places Leisure app or by contacting them directly.

Which ages get the most out of it?

The centre suits babies, toddlers, infants and juniors. It offers swimming lessons for little ones finding their confidence, plus soft play and other family activities.
