Northumberland Zoo (formerly Eshott Heugh Animal Park) is a family-run, non-profit zoo situated on 17 acres near Morpeth in Northumberland. Home to over 80 species from tiny Harvest Mice to fluffy Snow Leopards, the zoo offers keeper talks and displays, live webcams, and a café (Bear Falls Cafe). Features an Adventure Land outdoor play area for children. What started with just 4 chickens and two donkeys in 2015 has grown into a thriving zoo with snow leopards, wallabies, meerkats, arctic foxes, fruit bats, lemurs, and many more species. The zoo is a member of BIAZA and EAZA and participates in conservation and education programmes. Summer opening hours run from 29th March to 24th October 2026, 10:00-16:30 daily with last entry at 15:30.
