A working third-generation Lakeland farm open to visitors, set in the fields near Windermere. The centre's main draw for families is the daily livestock show in the farm arena, where the animals on the farm are introduced, including a large bull, and children can see how a Herdwick flock and beef herd are managed. Visitors can also try traditional farming skills such as drystone walling and wool spinning in designated areas. Alongside the farm activities there is a farm shop stocking produce from Lake District suppliers, a butchers counter selling the farm's own meat, and a farm kitchen with views over the fields. It suits a relaxed half-day out, with parking on site and a clear sense of how the Lake District landscape is farmed. Dogs are not permitted inside the centre.
