Walby Farm Park is an award-winning, all-weather family attraction in Cumbria, open 362 days a year. Set in 30 acres of countryside near Carlisle, it offers a fantastic mix of farm animals, indoor and outdoor play, and family-friendly dining.
Meet friendly farm animals including guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, and Highland cows, with hands-on sessions like pony grooming, goat racing, ferret shows, hand feeding, and milking demonstrations.
Indoor highlights include the Adventure Play Barn with a 24-foot Demon Drop Slide, and Milecastle62 — a three-level Roman fort-themed undercover play structure with rope climbs, slides, poles, and a dedicated under-3s area (Barbarian Village).
Outdoor fun includes JCB diggers, pedal tractors, swings, trampolines, go-karts, and a Barrel Ride.
The Cowshed Café serves freshly made, locally-sourced homemade food daily from 10am-5pm, and The Gift Shed shop offers toys, books, gifts, and children’s clothing.
A full day out with something for every age, rain or shine.
Attractions vary due to seasonal events, weather and ground conditions. Last entry 4pm.
