Hayles Fruit Farm is a working fruit farm on the outskirts of Winchcombe in the Cotswolds, run by the same family since the 1950s. Between summer and autumn families can pick their own strawberries, plums, apples, pears and pumpkins, with the picking season running from June through to October. There is a farm shop stocking local produce, homemade apple juice and cider, and a tearoom for lunch or a snack after picking. A nature trail takes walkers past some of the original cob nut trees and an old Bramley apple tree, and there are coarse fishing lakes for day ticket anglers. A campsite on the farm adds an overnight option for families who want to stay longer in the area.
Pick your own runs by crop: strawberries June to September, plums and apples August to October, pears September to October, pumpkins in October (approximate dates per the venue's pick-your-own page).
