Moors Valley is an award-winning country park and forest spanning over 800 acres on the Dorset/Hampshire border. A joint venture between Dorset Council and Forestry England, it offers a huge range of outdoor activities for all ages.
The park features Go Ape Treetop Adventures and Nets, miles of walking and cycling trails, two large adventure play areas, Adventure Valley with Mini Land Rovers and adventure golf, a steam railway, cycle hire, a one-mile play trail through the woods, Gruffalo and friends' sculptures, Tree Top and Music Trails, and an accessible Bee Hive play structure. There are also Segway experiences, laser tag, and pitch and putt golf.
Facilities include a cafe/restaurant, picnic areas around the lake, and a Visitor Centre. The park runs a weekly parkrun on Saturdays and Junior parkrun on Sundays. Dogs are welcome on the trails. Admission is free with paid parking.
