- Birthday parties
Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.
Trafford Watersports Centre is a watersports base on the lake at Sale Water Park, run by the Peak Activity Centres group. Families can try taster sessions in paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing, or bring their own boat or board. Alongside the water, the centre runs land-based activities such as archery, orienteering and rocket launching. During school holidays it runs activity clubs for children, and it hosts birthday parties as well as school and youth group visits. Instruction is available for beginners, and older children and teenagers can work towards recognised paddling and sailing awards. Sessions are outdoors on open water, so suitable clothing and a check of conditions before travelling are sensible.
