Whitlingham Adventure sits inside Whitlingham Country Park, a short drive from Norwich city centre, and runs a broad programme of water and land-based outdoor activities for children, young people and adults. Families can book taster sessions, hire paddle craft on the Great Broad, or join school holiday activities and multi-week courses in sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding. Land-based options include archery, climbing, bushcraft and orienteering. The centre also hosts birthday parties and group events, and it runs an educational programme for school visits. Most activity is in the warmer months and at weekends, with restricted activity over winter, so it suits a planned outing rather than a casual drop-in. Children are expected to wear suitable clothing and closed footwear, and the centre provides safety clothing and buoyancy aids for courses and hire.
