Cluetopia Braintree is a town-centre escape room venue on Rayne Road, with a set of themed, timed puzzle rooms that teams work through together. Each game runs for around an hour and the rooms range from light-hearted adventures, such as a dinosaur egg rescue or a festive reindeer mission, to darker jungle temple and haunted mansion stories. Groups of two to eight can book, and the venue asks that an adult is part of every team. Visitors who came with children have described the puzzles as clever without being obscure, and the staff as helpful when a group gets stuck. Because each room is a self-contained story, a visit suits families with older children, teenagers and friends who enjoy teamwork and problem solving.
