Facilities
We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.
An indoor games venue in the centre of Chelmsford, formerly trading under the name BCK YRD GOLF. The main draw for families is a 12-hole crazy golf course played three times over, with interactive obstacles and automatic scoring, so nobody needs to keep a card. Parents and carers are welcome to play alongside children, and the venue advises that younger players are accompanied by an adult. Alongside the golf there are shuffleboard, foot-pool, axe throwing, interactive darts and an ice-free curling lane, plus a newer escape room for older children and teenagers. Refreshments come from a bar and a food menu, so the venue suits a rainy-day outing or a birthday group. Under-18s are admitted only during the early part of the evening, and the venue becomes adults-only later on, so families should plan an earlier visit.
