Facilities
We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.
St George's Guildhall is the largest surviving medieval guildhall in the country, built by a medieval guild in the early 1400s and still used as a theatre and arts venue. Families can explore the building's history, including its links to Shakespeare and the Tudor stage, and the galleries and exhibition space next door at 29 King's Street. During school holidays the venue runs family sessions where children and adults can take part in games, crafts and having a go on stage. Themed events through the year bring live theatre, costumed characters, musicians, outdoor activities, a trail and crafts, and a Saturday art class for children runs fortnightly. The main theatre is closed for a major renovation at the time of writing, so check the venue's own site before a visit.
