Letheringsett Watermill is a restored working flour mill beside the River Glaven in North Norfolk. The red brick mill dates from 1802 and is run by the same family who restored it after taking it over from a disused state in the late 1980s. Visitors can usually see the mill turning on several days a week, though milling depends on production demand, and some parts of the building can only be viewed through glass panels. Alongside the mill there is a small tearoom, a shop selling stoneground flours and baking supplies, and antiques rooms. Families with older children may enjoy seeing how grain becomes flour and the outside areas by the river. The site is a heritage attraction rather than a play venue, so younger children may need entertaining between the mill, the tearoom and the riverside.
