A military museum on the site of a former Second World War anti-aircraft training camp on the North Norfolk coast. Its indoor halls hold a large collection of tanks, armoured cars, artillery, aircraft and light weapons, most of them kept in working order, alongside displays on wartime history, the Norfolk and Suffolk Yeomanry, and reconnaissance and air sea rescue. Families can see a wide range of vehicles up close, and there are seasonal military lorry rides and tank drives outside. A café, a picnic and play area, and sheltered dog kennels make it straightforward for a half-day or full day out. Many visitors spend two hours or more inside, so it suits older children and adults with an interest in history as well as younger children who enjoy the big machines.
Closed for the season; the site states it will reopen in February 2027. Military lorry rides are closed for the season and will run again in the new year.
