A narrow-gauge heritage railway running steam train journeys through the Norfolk countryside between Aylsham and Wroxham. The full 18-mile round trip takes around 45 minutes each way, following the River Bure past villages including Brampton, Buxton and Coltishall. You can choose a relaxed return journey, unlimited travel with a Rover ticket, or a single one-way ticket. The railway is dog-friendly and wheelchair accessible. At Aylsham Station there's a gift shop stocking railway models, collectables, souvenirs and retro sweets, plus the Whistlestop Café serving lunches, homemade cakes and afternoon teas. Special seasonal events include the Easter Eggspress and Festive Express.
