- Limited parking
No parking on site. Public car parking is in Cromer town, about a quarter of a mile away.
Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.
The RNLI Henry Blogg Museum is on the seafront at the end of Cromer's promenade, on the North Norfolk coast. It celebrates Henry Blogg, the RNLI's most decorated crew member, who served on the Cromer lifeboats for more than fifty years, and the volunteers who went out to rescue people from the sea. The centrepiece is the historic lifeboat H F Bailey, the boat Blogg used in many of his best-known rescues. Families can learn about the dangers the crews faced and the stories of ordinary Cromer people who helped in emergencies. The museum also runs school and group sessions for children aged roughly four to eleven, including a storytelling session about Blogg's dog Monte and a rescue drama workshop. The museum has been closed to visitors since the autumn of 2024 while the Rocket House building is repaired, and no reopening date has been published, so check before planning a visit.
