The centre says it has ample parking on site. Public parking is not on site during the retro car show; visitors are directed to a business park off the B1454 with volunteers on hand.

Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.

The RAF Sculthorpe Heritage Centre tells the history of the former American airbase at Sculthorpe, once one of the largest USAF bases in the country and for a decade part of the atomic deterrent. Displays cover wartime RAF operations at the site, the 1953 floods, Cold War spy flights and a 1958 atomic incident, with aircraft wreckage and gate-guard pieces on show. Since 2024 the collection has been housed in a former airbase chapel, where the café serves homemade cake and American snacks and drinks. Volunteers share personal stories, which tends to suit older children with an interest in aviation or history. The site also hosts open days, a retro car show, and birthday parties and school group visits. Check the calendar before travelling, as it opens only on certain Sundays.
