Cedar Farm is a former pig farm that has been converted into a courtyard of independent shops, studios, food outlets and workshop spaces. Families can wander the courtyard, visit the small animal farm run by Willow's Farm, where there are goats and other small animals to meet, and let children burn off energy in the playground, which has dens, wicker tepees, wooden tractors, and a slide and swings. A café and several food outlets sit in The Barn, which also has a lift and an upstairs space. The site runs events and workshops through the year, and the animal farm offers bookable seasonal experiences. It suits a relaxed family outing with younger children, and parents may enjoy browsing the crafts and gallery spaces while the children play.
