Vertigo Adventures is an outdoor high ropes and low ropes course set in Stanborough Park on the north side of the park. Younger children can start on the Monkey Trail, a lower course with nine elements, while older and more confident climbers can try the taller Hawks View course with more than twenty challenges and a trapeze walk. Other features include a zip wire called the Flying Fox, a climbing tower known as the Crazy Climb, and a descender drop from the top of the structure. Sessions are guided by instructors who clip visitors into a continuous belay system. The surrounding park has a boating lake, play area and open grass, so families can combine a session with time outdoors. The venue's own site also describes children's parties and school or group sessions. Please check the venue's own website before travelling, as the site currently says it is closed.

Questions parents ask

Is Vertigo Adventures manageable with both a toddler and an older child?
The site is designed for infants through teens, but the activities involve climbing walls, zip lines and high ropes courses. You'll need to check which specific courses suit your children's ages and abilities, as not all activities will be appropriate for a toddler alongside an older child wanting the harder challenges.
Can I bring a pushchair, or will I need to manage without one?
We haven't confirmed whether buggies are practical around the site. Contact the venue directly to ask about terrain and whether you can leave a pushchair in a safe place while supervising children on the activities.
What should we do about food and drink?
The site has a Food & Drink section on their website, suggesting refreshments are available, though we haven't confirmed the details. You're welcome to bring your own as well if you prefer.
How long should we plan to spend there?
A typical visit is around two hours, which should give children time to work through several of the courses depending on their confidence and ability.
