Apollo Activities Centre

Apollo Activities Centre sits on a private rural site on the edge of St Albans and runs instructor-led outdoor experiences. Families can try archery, a children's crossbow session aimed at younger children, and air rifle and air pistol shooting on an outdoor range. Older children and adults can book axe and knife throwing, electronic target shooting and archery tag, a fast game that mixes archery with dodgeball. The site also has a campsite for tents and an open field used for group events and celebrations. Most activities need an advance booking and are led by an instructor who explains the safety rules before you start. Each activity has its own minimum age, so check the age limit for the session you want before you arrive. Parking is on a grass car park and you call the centre on arrival, when an instructor comes to meet you.
