Facilities

We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.

An independent local history museum run by volunteers, opened in 2000 and grown out of a community history project. Its collection covers photographs, social history objects and the film and television heritage of the Elstree and Borehamwood area. Exhibitions change every few months and are described as interactive, so there is usually something new to see on each visit, including displays themed around local film productions. The museum also runs talks and workshops for schools and community groups. The space is compact, so a visit is quick, and it suits older children with an interest in films, local stories or how a town has changed. Admission is free.
