What’s there

  • Birthday parties

Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.

A small independent museum on the Square in Bromyard, entered through a police box in the foyer. Most of the collection is Doctor Who material, including Daleks, Cybermen, a Mechanoid and costumes spanning the programme's history, with further displays from Red Dwarf, Gerry Anderson puppet shows, Star Trek and Star Wars. Many of the pieces were gathered over years of touring exhibitions. Families with children who enjoy science fiction television will find plenty to look at, and the dark, atmospheric rooms and sound effects suit older children well. It is a visit of an hour or so rather than a full day out, and it works well as a rainy-afternoon stop in a market town. Parties can be booked outside the regular opening days. The building is not wheelchair accessible, so families with wheelchair users should plan ahead.
