The Quomps Splash Park sits on the riverside grass of Christchurch Quay, where the Rivers Avon and Stour meet near the harbour. It is a fenced water play area with a shallow paddling pool, water jets, sprays, channels and a water play pump, set on rubber flooring. Younger children tend to play in the shallows while older ones enjoy the more active features. An adjacent play park with climbing equipment, swings and a toddler area means families can combine the two over a long afternoon. Public toilets, including accessible facilities and baby changing, are on the Quomps, and there is a café nearby. The splash park is seasonal and open in the warmer months, so check current dates before travelling. Dogs, food and glass are not permitted inside the splash park.
