Facilities
We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.
Bridport Museum sits in one of the oldest buildings in the Dorset town and tells the story of Bridport from its Jurassic fossils through about 2,000 years of local life to its long rope and net making tradition. Displays are interactive and hands-on, and the museum runs fun family trails and activities that suit children as well as adults interested in history. Visits take in the main galleries, the museum shop, and a changing programme of exhibitions and workshops. Under 21s, carers and school groups go free, which makes it an easy, low-cost indoor option for a rainy day or a short stop while exploring the town. The museum is a small charity, so it is best to check the current opening days before setting out.
