A small museum in a Grade II* listed Georgian townhouse in the centre of Blandford Forum, showing a collection of historic clothing, accessories and textiles spanning roughly two and a half centuries. Displays are spread over two floors and the rolling programme of fashion exhibitions changes through the year, so there is usually something new to look at on a return visit. Children under 16 enter free when accompanied by a paying adult, which makes it an easy, low-cost stop for school-age children interested in costume, history or dressing-up styles. The museum runs education sessions and seasonal family workshops, including half-term activities advertised on its social media. A tearoom and shop sit alongside the galleries, so families can break the visit up over a snack. The building has a ramp to the ground-floor tearoom and shop and an accessible toilet, but the first floor is reached by steps, so visitors with limited mobility should check ahead.
