The King Richard III Visitor Centre tells the story of the medieval king through interactive displays on the site where his remains were discovered beneath a Leicester car park and identified by DNA testing. You explore how the Duke of Gloucester became King of England, examine the mystery of the Princes in the Tower, and learn about the Wars of the Roses. The centre also hosts a multi-media exhibition on Roman Leicester, covering everyday life including shopping and food. Children can download the Rex Factor: Lost In Time app to play on their visit.
