Court Barn is a museum of craft and design set inside a seventeenth-century barn beside St James's church in Chipping Campden. It traces the designers, makers and artists who worked in the north Cotswolds from the Arts and Crafts movement onwards, with displays of objects made locally, video and audio stories, and information about local craft traditions. The exhibition space is all on the ground floor, so the visit is compact and easy to manage with young children. Families can pick up activity sheets aimed at children on arrival, and the museum shop sells gifts and books. Because it is a small museum, a visit suits an hour or so, and it pairs well with a walk around the historic town centre. Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome throughout, and a disabled toilet with baby changing is on site. No booking is needed for individual visits, while groups of eight or more can arrange a guided visit.
