The View from The Shard is a visitor attraction on the upper floors of The Shard in Southwark, reached from Joiner Street beside London Bridge station. Visitors ride lifts to indoor viewing galleries with glass on all four sides, then can step out onto an open-air skydeck near the top of the building. Multimedia displays and exhibits explain London's history, and guest ambassadors are on hand to answer questions about the view. Children are admitted on a ticket, and under-threes go free. Bars on the viewing levels serve champagne, cocktails, soft drinks and hot drinks. Visitors are not limited to a set time once inside, and the venue suggests booking ahead for busy periods and sunset slots.
