A small outdoor railway run by a model engineering society in a wooded setting on the south-west side of Sheffield. Children and adults ride on steam and other powered miniature locomotives along ground-level and raised tracks, and younger visitors often enjoy watching the engines at work. The site has a grassed area for picnics, a refreshment kiosk selling light food, ice creams and souvenirs, and a lottery-funded carriage so most wheelchair users can take a ride. Themed days through the year include a summer charity picnic with a teddy bear, a Christmas lights evening and Santa specials in December. Dogs on a short lead are welcome in the grounds, though they cannot ride. Because the railway only runs on set dates, families should check the timetable before travelling.

Runs only on listed Sunday dates from March to October; closed in November.
