Heeley City Farm is a community charity and working urban farm in the Heeley district of Sheffield, a short distance from the city centre. Families come to meet goats, cows, sheep, guinea pigs and other animals, many of them native rare breeds. Herb, wildlife and organic gardens give children space to explore. The Farm Kitchen cafe serves vegetarian and vegan food, and the farm also runs education sessions and workshops. Entry is free, with donations welcome, so it suits a relaxed visit with younger children as well as older ones.
