Facilities

The Museum of Youth Culture presents the history of teenagers and young people in Britain across four exhibition spaces in Camden. Its displays draw on photographs, rave flyers, punk archives, fashion, records and personal stories, and rotating shows change what is on display. Visitors can also see a soundsystem built for the space, murals and a foosball table themed around subculture characters, which give younger visitors plenty to look at and talk about. The museum runs a youth club, workshops, DJ sets and film screenings alongside its galleries. Entry is free, with donations welcomed, and the team encourages pre-booking while accepting walk-ins. It suits teenagers, families with older children, and anyone curious about how young people have shaped music and style. The building sits a short walk from Camden Town tube station.
